I have a Mac, but I can’t get Visual Studio for Mac to install. I did some googling and the TLDR seems to be that it’s incompatible with my OS. So, is there another IDE for Mac that’s comparably efficient? I’ve been wanting to learn C#/.NET for a while now, it seems to pop up on every other job application, but I’ve been held back by these stupid installation issues.

I’d even be OK with some kind of in-browser tutorial, provided that it goes a bit more in depth than something like this. I’ve been coding for a while, and don’t really need a primer on variables, loops etc. unless they’re drastically different than in other languages (which they don’t seem to be in C#).
